Experience in the EIA of
oil pollution, dredging and drilling operations, offshore facility, causeway
construction, submarine pipeline and cable etc.
Proficiency in taxonomic
identification upto species level for polychaetes and order / family / generic
/ species level for other groups. So far I have identified more than 200
polychaete species from Arabian Sea and over 300 species from Arabian Gulf.
Confidence to handle
statistical packages PRIMER for windows and several other softwares.
Familiarity in diving:
PADI certified open water SCUBA diver (Diver No. 0308U00944).
Cruise Participation
As
Chief Scientist of RV Aegaeo Cruise in the Red Sea during June-July 2014.
Numerous cruises
in the Red Sea and in the Arabian Gulf.
Several offshore
experience in the Arabian Sea (including cruise nos. 149, 160, 162, 177 and 192A of
FORV Sagar Sampada, India).
